My name is Mila and I am one of the therapy dogs at Dedham Therapy farm – actually let me rephrase that, I am THE therapy dog, the first one, I started this thing! And I am damn proud of it.
When things first began I was just a pup and as I have grown so has the farm. My wonderful family now includes all kinds of therapy animals ranging from dogs (of course), to sheep, chickens, rabbits, donkeys and even Bryan the cow! He’s great by the way.
We aim to make a positive difference to the lives of others through the service that we offer. I have found that some people find it easier to interact with me than other humans. I have seen them grow in confidence and have found a home here at the farm. It’s really great seeing the regulars but it is also wonderful to meet new people and to find out how we can help them. So please don’t hesitate to get in contact.
I love it here at the farm, there’s so much to do and see! But don’t just take my word for it, come check it out for yourself! We are open to public every weekend 11am – 3pm. A suggested donation of £2 per person would be hugely appreciated.
Anyway, I must dash – I smell freshly baked dog treats and I want first bite!
